Denver Divers launches Scuba Rangers

Scuba Rangers offers classes and club activities to children ages 8 to 12.
After five classes, successful Rangers should be adept at diving in the salt-water pool.
Additional "specialty" courses are being offered this summer as a "club" activity.

The primary goal of Scuba Rangers is to make sure the kids have fun while learning about diving and the aquatic environment.  Continued participation in club activities will also serve to increase comfort and safety for budding divers.
Scuba Rangers is not meant to replace any Open Water Certification activity.  Rangers can, however, "challenge" the scuba skills portion of the Open Water Certification class.  All Open Water Diver candidates do have to complete the same academic training and testing.
