Growing up in a small east coast town, George learned at an early age that time spent with nature was time worth spending. In his early years, he enjoyed hiking the Appalachian Trail and weekends camping in the wilderness. He also spent many summers sailing the Chesapeake Bay with his father where he formed his love for the water. Wanting to experience new places, George moved to Colorado in 1988 where he attended Colorado State University. It was during these years that he developed a new passion for the amazing Rocky Mountains.
Photography is a natural extension of George's passion for life, adventure and sharing time with friends. Active living is the essence of life and George would not have it any other way. Traveling the world, he enjoys the inspiration of getting away from it all. From mountain biking the Colorado Trail to skiing the Vail back country. From sailing the Caribbean Islands to surfing the Pacific coast. George enjoys the world from a unique perspective and enjoys bringing those experiences home in his photography.
